Gillespie and Co., Inc., (GCI) is a Concord,
Massachusetts-based commercial real estate investment and development
firm founded by Ian Gillespie in 1982. Since that time, the
firm has focused on larger, market-driven projects in greater
Boston.
In the last seven years alone, the firm has developed or redeveloped
more than a million square feet of existing office space on
an opportunistic basis, as well as managed an additional 1.6
million square feet of development capacity in four different
projects. These investments have resulted in substantial returns
to the institutional funds and high-net-worth investors who
entrusted their capital to the Partners.
GCI has traditionally partnered with significant institutional
funds, including Lehman Brothers Holdings, Geometry Group Inc.,
Old Stone Development Corporation, and most recently, Greenfield
